Willmac Brickwork recently undertook a significant role in the construction of Seren Lodge, at the Countess of Chester Hospital, a new £7.5 million single storey building dedicated to supporting perinatal mothers, babies, and their families. This project involved the transformation of a disused training centre which will provide a state-of-the-art, eight-bedded development that aims to provide specialised care and support for families in need.
Willmac Brickwork’s contributions included handling the subs package, which entailed the careful demolition of existing structures, the reinstatement of brickwork above lintels, and the completion of essential blockwork and flooring tasks. Preparatory building work began in April, marking the start of this important project.
